چکیده

Abstract To fulfils the demand of melons ( Cucumis melo ), it requires intensive maintenance by agrochemical products. If this is done continuously, will lead to soil degradation and disrupt sustainable food supply. Therefore, an innovation needed maintain supply using biofilm biofertilizer technology. This study aims are determine potential bacteria isolated from melon rhizosphere solubilize phosphate producing indole acetic acid (IAA) so that can be developed into biofertilizer. Soil samples were taken three gardens owned farmers located in Sragen Regency, Karanganyar Regency Wonogiri Central Java. In laboratory, then dilution method. The isolates obtained tested for their ability produce IAA. Phosphate essential nutrient plant growth IAA promoting. results showed highest solubilization was produced bacterial isolate SRG 1A with a halo zone ratio 1.957 concentration WNG 1B value 6.151 ppm. Based on bacteria, indicates have as help plants because has potency

Influence of Glomus intraradices and Soil Phosphorus on Meloidogyne incognita Infecting Cucumis melo.

The interaction among Glomus intraradices, Meloidogyne incognita, and cantaloupe was studied at three soil phosphorus (P) levels in a greenhouse. All plants grew poorly in soil not amended with P, regardless of mycorrhizal or nematode status. In soil amended with 50 mug P /g soil, M. incognita suppressed the growth of nonmycorrhizal plants by 84%. In contrast, growth of mycorrhizal plants inocu...

The genome of melon (Cucumis melo L.).

We report the genome sequence of melon, an important horticultural crop worldwide. We assembled 375 Mb of the double-haploid line DHL92, representing 83.3% of the estimated melon genome. We predicted 27,427 protein-coding genes, which we analyzed by reconstructing 22,218 phylogenetic trees, allowing mapping of the orthology and paralogy relationships of sequenced plant genomes. We observed the ...
